In which means of transport can you continue to travel without the obligation of a Green pass? And what about NCCs and taxi?
With the Ordinance of 30 August 2021 of the Ministry of Health, the new Covid guidelines of the Ministry of Sustainable Infrastructures and Mobility were published in agreement with the Regions, the Autonomous Provinces, ANCI and UPI for the organization of services on the various means of transport .
The document updates the previous protocol also for NCC and TAXI.
According to the epidemiological indexes of reference, the Regions and the Autonomous Provinces in their territories can always introduce more restrictive prescriptions to these measures.
COVID TRANSPORT GUIDELINES: THE NEWS
The main points of the new guidelines are increased travel, differentiation of the time of entry to schools, factories and offices; obligation to wear a mask; presence of staff in charge of reception, information, surveillance and management of cases of violation of the Green Pass obligation.
The document provides for both general measures (valid for each type of transport) and, in the technical annex, specific directives for each individual vehicle: air transport, maritime and port sector, rail transport, local public transport (car, metro, tramway, funiculars , lake, lacunar), commercial and non-scheduled transport.
For taxis and NCCs, bulkheads are provided between rows of seats up to 9 seats; up to 5 seats, a maximum of two passengers are allowed; with six or more seats, no more than two passengers are allowed in each row.
For road transport: Green Pass and self-certification on interregional buses with pre-established itineraries, timetables, frequencies and prices and for bus rental services with driver; checking the temperature before boarding.
The limitations do not apply in the case of cohabiting people, between relatives and people who have stable interpersonal relationships (spouse, relatives and in-laws in a straight line and collateral not cohabiting, but with stable attendance; people, not related by kinship, of affinity or marriage, which usually share the same places).
